Circle BMW, one of the region’s leading BMW dealerships, today announced that Olympic rower and two-time gold medalist Caryn Davies, will make an appearance at their BMW Drive for Team USA Event. The event will take place at their Eatontown, NJ BMW dealership on July 13, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Qualified participants will have the opportunity to test drive the all-new BMW 650i Convertible, the full line up of BMW models and get behind the wheel of the competition. As a special thank-you for attending, BMW will provide qualified test drive participants with a $1,000 allowance that can be used towards the purchase or lease of a new BMW.

Circle BMW Event Raises Money for Team USA

The BMW Drive for Team USA strengthens the community’s connection with Team USA by bringing the Olympic movement to Monmouth County, NJ and by raising money for Team USA for each test drive taken on the day of the event. For every qualified participant who test drives a vehicle at this event, BMW of North America will donate $10.00 to Team USA, up to a maximum donation of $200,000.

At the event, participants are also invited to cast their vote for one of three athletes to be supported by BMW on their journey to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games.

BMW Group has a long-standing commitment to the Olympic movement. BMW played an active role in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, the home of BMW Group. In 1996, BMW Group was a sponsor of the Atlanta Olympic Games and U.S. Olympic Team. In July 2010, BMW Group announced they are the official Mobility Partner of the United States Olympic Committee. The 2012 London Games are exactly one year away and the excitement is building.

Attendees will have a unique opportunity to get behind the wheel and test drive several new BMW vehicles, compare the ready power and agility of the all-new BMW 5 Series Sedan against the Mercedes-Benz E350, Audi A6 and Audi A4 and take a tour of Circle BMW’s state-of-the-art facility.

Circle BMW is holding the BMW Ultimate Driving Event in conjunction with BMW of North America’s summer cross-country tour. The United States importer of BMW luxury/performance vehicles is conducting a total of 10 tours throughout the country to introduce consumers to BMW’s new model offerings. Registered event attendees will receive an exclusive “Drive Off” allowance valued at $1,000 toward the purchase or lease of most BMW models.

“At the BMW Ultimate Driving Event, our current and prospective customers will be among the first to experience the new 2011 BMW models,” said Joseph Falotico, general sales manager, Circle BMW. “Having competitive vehicles at the event, will give customers a unique opportunity to do a drive-by-drive comparison and experience the capability and value of the ‘ultimate driving machine.’”

New features include a lower and sleek exterior that is complemented by pronounced horizontal headlights and L-shaped taillights. The interior departs from the reduced aesthetics of the current model and moves to a richer look that is almost identical to the 5-series Gran Turismo and 7-Series.BMW xDrive — all-wheel drive — is an option, the 5 retains rear-wheel drive as standard.

The June 2010 launch in North America of the new 2011 BMW 550i and 2011 BMW 535i will be followed later in the year by the 528i. Completely redesigned, the sixth-generation 5-series comes exactly seven years after the launch of the current model.

Circle BMW, one of the region’s leading BMW dealerships, today announced that the company is  featured in a five minute informational segment currently airing on NJ Discover Television and online at NJDiscover.com. The five minute segment, shot on location at Circle BMW, features Circle BMW President, Tom DeFelice and several employees, and is hosted by producer and former Guiding Light actor Frank Dicopoulos.

NJ Discover is a local T.V. show that highlights New Jersey businesses.  A family owned and operated business that has served its community for the past 29 years, Circle BMW was recently honored by NJBIZ, the state’s leading business publication, as a business of the year finalist.

Dicopoulos created the segment to provide viewers with an up close and personal tour of Circle BMW’s state-of-the-art facility, expansive inventory, and employees, reaching out to consumers in a way not typically possible on a day-to-day basis.
