The Coupe, which is actually a 4-door sedan, breaks new molds in the luxury sedan segment with an array of technology firsts, luxury features and innovative vehicle drive settings including Comfort, Sport, and Eco Pro.

The powerful 640i sedan will thrill driving enthusiasts with 315 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque. Preliminary information from BMW reveals that the Gran Coupe 640i model can achieve 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds. Upgrading to the 650i offers drivers BMW’s twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 engine, 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque.

The Gran Coupe will appeal to a wide range of drivers, those that love the thrill of a sports car as well as those that enjoy the sophistication and comfort of a sedan. The 2013 Gran Coupe successfully combines the stunning proportions, design and driving dynamics of the 6 Series Coupe with interior room and amenities for up to five passengers.

The 2012 NY Auto Show takes place April 6-15 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. The show will reveal concept cars, newly revealed cars, alternative fuel cars and more.

DETAILS: Throughout the upcoming holiday season, Circle BMW — a designated drop off site for the FoodBank — will collect donations from area residents and businesses and transport the items to the Neptune, NJ-based facility.

All donations may be dropped off in Circle BMW’s Service Department between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Circle BMW is currently accepting the following nonperishable items for the FoodBank:

• Stuffing and Gravy
• Ready-to-eat Canned Meals
• Canned Sweet Potatoes or Yams
• Canned Vegetables
• Canned Fruits
• Cranberry Sauce (Jellied)

• Peanut Butter & Jelly
• Instant Potatoes
• Pasta/Rice
• Macaroni & Cheese
• Canned Juices & Sip-size Juices
• Canned and Dry Soup
