Olympic Gold Medalist to Make Appearance at Circle BMW Event

Circle BMW, one of the region’s leading BMW dealerships, today announced that Olympic rower and two-time gold medalist Caryn Davies, will make an appearance at their BMW Drive for Team USA Event. The event will take place at their Eatontown, NJ BMW dealership on July 13, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.

circle bmw njQualified participants will have the opportunity to test drive the all-new BMW 650i Convertible, the full line up of BMW models and get behind the wheel of the competition. As a special thank-you for attending, BMW will provide qualified test drive participants with a $1,000 allowance that can be used towards the purchase or lease of a new BMW.

Circle BMW Event Raises Money for Team USA

The BMW Drive for Team USA strengthens the community’s connection with Team USA by bringing the Olympic movement to Monmouth County, NJ and by raising money for Team USA for each test drive taken on the day of the event. For every qualified participant who test drives a vehicle at this event, BMW of North America will donate $10.00 to Team USA, up to a maximum donation of $200,000.

At the event, participants are also invited to cast their vote for one of three athletes to be supported by BMW on their journey to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games.

BMW Group has a long-standing commitment to the Olympic movement. BMW played an active role in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, the home of BMW Group. In 1996, BMW Group was a sponsor of the Atlanta Olympic Games and U.S. Olympic Team. In July 2010, BMW Group announced they are the official Mobility Partner of the United States Olympic Committee. The 2012 London Games are exactly one year away and the excitement is building.
